Volunteers who would like to contribute to an important public history project by doing online research can learn how in a Zoom tutorial by Mara Cherkasky of Prologue DC on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. Cherkasky is co-creator of Mapping Segregation in Washington DC, a project that uses maps to visualizes how systemic racism shaped the city of Washington, DC.

The project was the subject of a Sept 24 Zoom webinar hosted by HCCDC and Northwest Neighbors Village. A recording of the webinar will be posted on both HCCDC’s and NNV’s websites when it is available. The webinar featured HCCDC President Carl Lankowski as interviewer, with NNV’s Stephanie Chong as MC.
